The Challenge: Making FinTech not as complicated as it is complex
Lendora Capital, a new-generation fintech project, was aimed at streamlining the personal lending process to young professionals and freelancers in the form of a convenient mobile application.
The trick here was, however, to make their instant loan approval system, which is a complicated backend technology, visually appealing as well as understandable. They desired a cartoon-based explainer video that would make their technology more human and make users who were new to the digital lending process feel more trusting of it.
Lendora Capital needed a solution that would:
● Make their complicated financial process less complicated with visuals.
● Mirrors a contemporary, believable, and relatable brand voice.
● Train users in a short time in order to onboard apps and social media campaigns.
● Grow number of apps downloaded and customer interaction.
Our Style: Motion Graphics that Means Simple
We realized that we had to be clear through design to succeed. We did not work with data or numbers, but in the process of loaning to Lendora, we transformed it into a visual narrative, something clean, dynamic, and moving.
Phase 1: Visual Direction and Storyboarding
Our user journey mapping, which began with loan application through approval, was organized in a 60-second flow of the explainer. In collaboration with the creative team of Lendora, we came up with:
● Visual: based on minimal pretty iconography and user-friendly interfaces.
● Color Palette: In keeping with the traditional teal and white Lendora brand.
● Typography: Bold fonts (sans serifs) in order to increase the readability and sense of confidence.
● Motion Strategy: Transitions that were fluency reflecting the effectiveness of the app.
Phase 2: Integration of Animation and Sound
As soon as the storyboard and design resources could be accepted, our motion team created an animated sequence using Adobe After Effects, which would make it intelligent and approachable at the same time.
The animation stage involved:
●Fluid Transitions: Scene-to-Scene movement in tandem with important beats in narration.
●Dynamic Infographics: Statistical representations of loan statuses and stages of operation put as animations and made easy to consume.
● Interactive UI Simulation: Visual interfaces that simulated actual applications.
●Voice and Sound Design: Lively, straightforward narration with sharp electronic sound effects.
Phase 3: Delivery and Optimization
We streamlined various adaptations of the explainer across platforms – website, app stores and paid ad campaigns so that the playback and visual experience were consistent.
● Mobile-first and desktop formats: Resolution Adaptation.
● Engagement Focus: Hook scenes at the start in order to keep the viewers.
● Branded Outro: Conspicuous button leading a customer to the Lendora app download.
The Findings: Strauss and Struss, Real Growth
The growth of Lendora during the initial stages was largely conditioned by the use of the explainer video that brought tangible success:
●The first month will see an increase of 32 percent in the number of applications downloaded.
● Increased rate of conversion on online advertisements of the video.
As a result, the user will have a better understanding of the loan process at Lendora.
Swift Animations assisted us in making complicated financial technology features a narrative that people would find pleasure in viewing. It has been one of our major growth stimulators.
I concur with the author that the company must implement a distinct marketing strategy to effectively target the youthful customer segment in the industry (Ethan Cole, Marketing Head, Lendora Capital).
Conclusion: When Money is Simplified by Motion
The Lendora Capital project demonstrated the idea that fintech can be made human with the help of strategic motion graphics. A combination of modern design, flawless animation and precision of the storytelling process allowed Swift Animations to make a technical process an easy to watch visual one, and it turned out that motion is the most effective language in some cases.
